So many random things have happened lately. Not all of them blog worthy, but a few will randomly appear. It’s been a crazy few days which is fine. A lot of good and bad, and that’s the way life always is. Even when things tend to pile up on me and get me down in the dumps, I always try and look at the positivity in life.
I have an amazing husband that I would do anything for and me for him. We are so lucky in that respect and every day we get together is precious. I have a few amazing friends I would do anything for. I have the best three cookies anywhere that cause me endless happiness and entertainment. I also was so fortunate in the past year to visit Hawaii, Disneyland, and we bought our first home. I am lucky. However, that doesn’t mean life can’t frustrate me.
So when life frustrates me like others I have a few options.
I can:
eat- run
- vent about it
- try and think about the happy things
- put things in perspective
So the last few days have been a tiny bit frustrating although I do remain optimistic that it will turn around soon. Instead, I chose to run today. Followed by a healthy dinner of protein, fruits, and veggies mainly. Yummy! So just remember, adults don’t always act like adults (although I wish they did). You can’t change a cheetah’s spots. And judging a person does not define who they are, it defines who you are.
It’s something I feel the entire world, myself, included needs to get better at.
