The Caesar Hotel…

Outside of the Hotel

We had read tons of reviews for Hotels around London. My requirements were cheapish, yet great reviews and near Hyde Park.  My goal was to run for training, but with all the walking and stairs we did, I didn’t get to. The one morning I was going to the park was closed due to Hurricane force wind tree damage.

We decided on The Caesar as it had amazing reviews on Hotels.com and was in the middle of a lot of train stations (Paddington, Lancaster, Queensway, etc.)

We checked in around 2 and our room was ready. We were on the second floor (floor 1… so weird!) and went to our room. It was in the middle of a neighborhood that was quiet, and had great Cafe’s and Pubs!

It was probably the cleanest hotel room I had ever seen. I loved the Hardwood floors.  There was also enough room to leave our two big suitcases open on the floor.  The bathroom was at the foot of the bed.

We ended up in our room by 8 or 9 each night as many museums opened at 8 a.m. or earlier so we often got up at 6 to get going. There was a bar and restaurant right on site and the prices were decent, we never ended up eating there though as we found even cheaper places right in the neighborhood! They also had 24 hour room service!

We absolutely loved it. It was spacious enough to sit in at night, had free wifi so we could upload phone photos at night, and enough tv stations to relax!

We definitely recommend it and couldn’t believe how great of a deal it was for location!
