Wild Africa Trek…

8 Jun

About a week ago, my husband and I treated my parents to the Wild Africa Trek at Animal Kingdom. We decided it would make a great father’s day gift for my Dad and an early birthday gift for my Mom!  So off we went!

It was a great adventure! Amazing views, yummy food out on their boma, and great fun! One thing is you can have nothing in your pockets, so it is a nice break from the real world as you leave your cell phone behind!

It’s worth the money and the time!  The entire tour took about 3 hours and definitely relaxed!  You are led by two Trek guides the entire way that watch out for your safety, have animal knowledge and oversee your amazing time!

They also take photos of you throughout the tour so we ended up with a lot of unique and some great family photos!

After all the adventure you get to ride in a private safari vehicle and stop out for some amazing views!  You can also ask questions and they try to get you to see the ones you want!

Overall, it was worth the money, the time, and was tons of fun! The four of us really enjoyed it and can’t wait to hopefully do it again in the future!

I had never heard of this. So it’s a private Safari tour, includes food and more up close animal interactions? I think it’s a great idea and I’m glad you guys had a wonderful time.

pretty much! it has less then 20 people, some views and experiences you cant see anywhere else like walking across bridges across some animals, and extra facts. its a bit expensive, but worth it!
