close the purse strings…

26 Jun

It just seems like once you start spending money, you can’t stop. how true that is! Since my jeep died and I needed some new clothes it seems like the money can’t stop flowing, and now we are trying to recover!

However we have bad habits of spending now as since we’ve spent money on so much else, we have been buying random things. So what if I wanted that movie? or that CD? It’s only a few weeks. So what if we go do that together?

What is that it costs MONEY! Even the ten bucks or so can help us save up.  We want a house.  A house is the first step to our future.  We also want to be able to afford to go to Hawaii next year.  Then we want to be able to afford kids someday.   It just never stops.  Money is going out and not enough is coming in.

Then of course, the kittens have to go to the vet for their yearly check-up.  $500 bucks later, hopefully all will be done! Although it could be more this year as they are older, and I know Snickerdoodle needs more eye stuff or to go see a specialist. We’ve just been delaying it until their check-up and using up some of the stuff we have here.  And we are not those people that have pets and then never take them to the vet. People like that drive me crazy. They are practically your children. TAKE CARE OF THEM!

So the purse strings are closing and I will try to go back to focusing on exercise.  Something to distract me as I am in a rut.  I just want to keep spending, but yet I want the future house to be here so quickly!  I just can’t believe it!  I just need to enjoy the present more and not dream of the future because it will be here and gone before you know it.  Just sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride.
